2).Male-Dominated Society

Due to being a male-dominated society in India, women have no right to talk about themselves. Due to which women are exploited for dowry, they are tortured mentally and physically. Because of which there is no marriage with the girl when there is any color or any other disorder, therefore her parents offer dowry to get her married or many people keep the special demand of dowry to marry the girl. Due to which the practice of dowry is encouraged.

7). Uneducated Girls

Girls are not able to get married due to their education. Therefore some people are ready to marry uneducated girls but they say that we will take care of their life, so give us some help in the form of dowry.He fulfills his desire for greed in the name of aid. It should be avoided by such people because they continue torturing girls even after getting dowry.

8). Unemployment

Yes, unemployment is also a major reason for the practice of dowry, because when the proposal comes for marriage of unemployed youths, then they say that to help you start your business, you should help some money so that we can have a happy life after marriage. Can afford They take dowry as a help of money and promote dowry practice.

Such people neither do business nor do any job. These people want to live their life with dowry money and when the dowry money is over, they start torturing the girl and bringing dowry from her family . You have also seen many stories, movies and plays on this.

Effects of Dowry System

Presently you may have been seeing how oppressive women are being exploited due to dowry practices. The day comes in the news that the boys of the dowry killed the girl by burning them alive or drove her out of the house for dowry. Whenever a girl is born in a family because of the dowry system, people agree with their happiness. Because they are worried about where to bring dowry for marriage.

If you take or give dowry or support it, then you are also guilty of law, you are also helping to increase it, so whenever you see this happen, protest against it and inform the police.

How To Stop Dowry Practice?

This practice, called dowry, has dropped our thinking so much that now we do not come to shame if we take dowry. It seems that the dowry bite has become so fatal that it has killed our conscience too. The reason for this decrease is increasing day by day, which is very dangerous for us and our society.

To Stop the Practice of Dowry, the Boy and Girl will have to adopt two things

1). If you are a girl then do not marry in any family who demands dowry, or if you feel like a little bit that this family is not right for you then immediately ask for marriage.

2). And if you are a boy then tell your family that I will marry only when you will not take dowry from the girl.

1). By making laws against dowry practice

We should request the government to try to stop this practice by making strict laws against the practice of dowry. At present, there have been some such laws which have been made to curb dowry system. Among them, the Dowry Ban Act, 1961, under which dowry and giving both are punishable.

2). By educating girls

We need to spread awareness among the people that girls should be educated as much as possible, so that they are capable of doing any work and they will not even have to give dowry to get married.
Education is the only break of every destructive disease. Now the government has also issued a free education system to educate the daughters. It is to inform people that girls are not less than boys.

3). Stop the discrimination between boy and girl

As long as we continue to discriminate between girl and boy, the more dowry practice will be strengthened. Every school should have such programs and dramas through which the day can be explained that the boy and the girl are equal, they should not discriminate in any way and taking dowry and giving both are punishable. People will have to change their thinking.

5). We have to oppose dowry practices

Whenever you go to any wedding you can see that dowry is taken and given, if it does, you should oppose it. You should not go to a marriage where dowry practice is encouraged.

And all of you have the responsibility to say that you do not have to say yes to dowry, because this moment will never happen in your life.

You must have come to know through this dowry convention that how much harm is being done to our society and family due to the dowry system, so whenever you see this happen, protest it.

You can spread an inferiority complex against the dowry system, when any person is taking dowry, then only tell him that the girl gave dowry and bought the boy.
