Friends as we know that water is important for the continuation of life on the earth.It is the basic need of every human being, animal, plants and other microorganisms.It is the unique source of life. About three-quarters of the Earth's longest three-fourth area is covered by water. It is covered with water. Without water no one can imagine the life on the earth. Life is not possible on other planets because water is not available there. Water is endless and renewable source on the earth because it keeps on regenerated and redistributed all over the earth through evaporation and rain.Now a question will be arising in your mind that if water is renewable source then why we should worry for water.

Friends जैसा कि हम जानते हैं कि पृथ्वी पर life की निरंतरता के लिए पानी महत्वपूर्ण है। यह प्रत्येक मनुष्य, पशु, पौधों और अन्य सूक्ष्मजीवों की मूल आवश्यकता है। यह जीवन(life) का अद्वितीय स्रोत है। पृथ्वी का लगभग तीन-चौथाई क्षेत्र(area) पानी से ढका हुआ है। पानी के बिना कोई भी पृथ्वी पर जीवन की कल्पना नहीं कर सकता है। अन्य ग्रहों(planets) पर जीवन संभव नहीं है क्योंकि वहां पानी उपलब्ध नहीं है। पृथ्वी पर जल(water) अंतहीन(endless) और नवीकरणीय(renewable) स्रोत है क्योंकि यह वाष्पीकरण(evaporation) और बारिश के माध्यम से पृथ्वी पर पुनर्जीवित(regenerated) और पुनर्वितरित(redistributed) होता रहता है। अब आपके मन में एक सवाल उठ रहा होगा कि यदि पानी अक्षय(renewable ) स्रोत है तो हमें पानी की चिंता क्यों करनी चाहिए।

Actually, there is only 1% of the water on the earth which is usable for our drinking. And 97% of the water is unusable water to us because it is salty sea water, 2% of the water is in the form of glaciers and polar ice caps. only 1% of the water on the earth is drinkable for us over which population all over the world is depended for the survival. Most of the people die in the lack of water instead of the lack of food. It will be again arising a question in your mind that why we are so late in recognizing the need of water saving and conservation. Because the life of everyone human beings and every living things on the earth depends on water, situation gets worse than if useful water become dirty or started reducing. A fresh and drinkable water gets polluted with the harmful and toxic elements by the several sources like factories, industries, sewer, etc. and it causes disease and death if polluted by animals, human beings and plants.

दरअसल, पृथ्वी पर केवल 1% water है जो हमारे पीने के लिए उपयोग करने योग्य है। और 97% water हमारे लिए अनुपयोगी(unusable) पानी है क्योंकि यह नमकीन समुद्र(salty sea) का पानी है, 2% पानी ग्लेशियर और ध्रुवीय बर्फ के रूप में है। पृथ्वी पर केवल 1% पानी हमारे लिए पीने योग्य है, जिस पर दुनिया भर की आबादी जीवित रहने के लिए निर्भर(depend) है। ज्यादातर लोग भोजन की कमी के बजाय water की कमी से मर जाते हैं। आपके मन में फिर से यह सवाल उठ रहा होगा कि पानी की बचत और संरक्षण(conservation) की आवश्यकता को पहचानने में हमें इतनी देर क्यों हो रही है। क्योंकि पृथ्वी पर इंसान(human) और हर जीवित चीजों का जीवन पानी पर निर्भर करता है, स्थिति तब और खराब हो जाती है जब उपयोगी पानी गंदा(polluted) हो जाता है या कम होने लगता है। एक ताजा और पीने का पानी कारखानों, उद्योगों, सीवर आदि जैसे कई स्रोतों द्वारा हानिकारक और विषाक्त तत्वों(toxic elements) से प्रदूषित हो जाता है और यह जानवरों, मनुष्यों और पौधों द्वारा प्रदूषित(polluted) होने पर बीमारी और मृत्यु(death) का कारण बनता है।

Tips to save water

Here are some suggestions which really will help you to save water:
यहां कुछ सुझाव(suggestions) दिए गए हैं जो वास्तव में आपको पानी बचाने में मदद करेंगे:

• Parents should make their children understand about water conservation. They should not allow their children to purchase recreational water toys (which require constant stream of water)
• माँ -बाप को अपने बच्चों को जल संरक्षण(conservation) के बारे में समझना चाहिए। उन्हें अपने बच्चों को मनोरंजक पानी के खिलौने(recreational water toys) खरीदने की अनुमति नहीं देनी चाहिए (जिसमें पानी की निरंतर धारा की आवश्यकता होती है)

• Everybody should be aware about the rules of water shortage and restrictions and strictly should follow it in their own area.
• पानी की कमी और प्रतिबंधों के नियमों के बारे में हर किसी को जागरूक होना चाहिए और अपने क्षेत्र में इसका सख्ती से पालन करना चाहिए।

• Every employee should be active for the water conservation where they work and they should encourage their employer to promote water conservation in other effective ways.
• प्रत्येक कर्मचारी को जल संरक्षण के लिए सक्रिय होना चाहिए जहां वे काम करते हैं और उन्हें अपने नियोक्ता को अन्य प्रभावी तरीकों से जल संरक्षण को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना चाहिए।

• There should be water conservation awareness training programs regularly at schools, colleges, work place, offices, institutions, etc.
• स्कूलों, कॉलेजों, कार्य स्थल, कार्यालयों, संस्थानों आदि में नियमित रूप से जल संरक्षण जागरूकता प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम होना चाहिए।

• Water conservation techniques should be shown on every news media channels like newspaper, TV, FM, Radio, community newsletters, bulletin boards, banners, etc.
• समाचार, टीवी, एफएम, रेडियो, सामुदायिक समाचार पत्र, बुलेटिन बोर्ड, बैनर इत्यादि जैसे हर समाचार माध्यमों पर जल संरक्षण तकनीकों को दिखाया जाना चाहिए।

• People should always be alert in their area to report to the local authorities and water management of district about problems like water loss, broken pipes, errant sprinklers, open hydrants, abandoned free-flowing wells, etc.
• लोगों को अपने क्षेत्र में पानी की कमी, टूटी पाइप, गलत छिड़काव, खुले हाइड्रेंट, खुले में बहने वाले कुएं आदि जैसी समस्याओं के बारे में स्थानीय अधिकारियों और जिले के जल प्रबंधन को रिपोर्ट करने के लिए हमेशा सतर्क रहना चाहिए।

• School and college students should be given task to prepare projects on water conservation and given this topic during any competition such as debate, discussion, essay writing or speech recitation.
• स्कूल और कॉलेज के छात्रों को जल संरक्षण पर परियोजनाओं को तैयार करने का काम दिया जाना चाहिए और इस विषय को किसी भी प्रतियोगिता जैसे बहस, चर्चा, निबंध लेखन या भाषण के दौरान दिया जाना चाहिए।
